TS and I celebrated earth hour at 8.30 on Saturday night with scented tea lights, chess and homemade limoncello. Yes, I have branched into the extravagantly specialist arena and started making my own liqueur! It was zesty and sweet and delicious. I'll be making it again.
We light candles most nights. But it felt wonderful to be doing our bit.
How did you spend earth hour?
Homemade Limoncello?? now that's just bragging
ReplyDeleteI'm coming to celebrate Earth Hour with you next time, ok! :O)
I'll admit to turning out the lights and having deep meaningful conversations... though it seems I was missing the important homemade limoncello!
You make your own liqueur?!? I hope you post a tutorial sometime!
ReplyDeleteRecipe??
ReplyDeleteHi mate, what a lovely way to spend your evening for earth hour! I love board games, especially playing cards! If only I could convince the boy he liked playing too...lol :) I love candles too x
ReplyDeleteYour earth hour celebration was much more fancy than mine! All I did was turn off all the lights and sit by the window people-watching, hehe.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately Melbourne didn't get into the spirit of Earth Hour as much as it did last year. Something about a Grand Prix.......!
