quotes i like this week

When I was a teenager, I had a beautiful book my godfather bought me at a market in Queensland. The front cover was made of papier mache, and wrought and sculpted in such a way that a face sprouted from the middle of it. Eyes, nose and curled lips, like the face of a wise wizard. To open it, I would pull the nose.

In it, I copied poems I liked or pasted in quaint little pictures cut from various Vogue Entertaining and Travel magazines, but mostly I copied in quotes that I wanted to remember.

Green Ink is kind of like a scrapbook for me. So today I'll share a few quotes that I've found lately that have inspired me, that I'd like to remember.
