"I have a surprise for you,"the doting lover purred into the phone yesterday. "I decided to treat us to Two Days in Paris."
Of course, I was hearing this, not reading it, and my heart leapt with excitement! But if you can't actually get to Paris itself for two days, then this movie is just as good.
It's always nice when you pick something up on a whim in Blockbuster, and it turns out to be so good you go and buy it! My favourite kind of movies are gentle, built on good stories and witty dialogue, the kind of things you can watch over and over, when you feel like some inspiration, or if you're home alone on a Tuesday night. Funny, heart warming, romantic, beautifully shot and with a fabulous soundtrack, it ticks all of Green Ink's boxes for a great movie.
I could bore you with a review, but instead I'll just urge you to see it. See. It.
I love this movie!! Brilliant and how lucky are you to be only a skip, hop and a jump away from Paris yourself. Jealous much? Yes I am.
