  1. This was inspired by something I saw on Sheena's blog, but also because I was interrupted at work twice yesterday by fire drills. I just started writing a list, as one does. It was a nice reminder of things that make me happy, and maybe things I need to make sure I have more of in my life.

I'd love to read yours :)

  2. Wow, that's quite a long list. But yeah, you're right, it's good to remind yourself of what makes you happy. I'll think about mine.

  4. Lori - I just started and kept going! I left a few things out, and had to edit it to include kookaburras (how could I forget them?). I just like list-making as a whole, it's calming but also a nice mental exercise! I hope to see yours :)

Alla - I love yours! I can't believe I forgot havianas! And snow - and Mt Wellington! :)

But it was by far my favourite list to make.

  6. I bet with a little work you could fit many of these items into the "My Favourite Things" song....go on....give it a go....

Phil sounds like you should have been born in the 1920's or 30's in a lovely English country house, perhaps fit for writing a novel in :)

This list is great, it has a few of my favurite things as well!

  13. Ooooh... lists. I love lists. Lists rock.

You have great taste. I'm not sure my list of favourite things would be quite so interesting but I might attempt one while I'm away on holiday soon.

Thanks for the comments you left for me. I could say the same about you and your blog. Very interesting and very nicely written.

I see that trouble-maker, Lori, visits you... (Hi, Lori!)

    I shall be back.
