This weekend we just escaped to the countryside to enjoy the calm before the storm.
Two days of fresh air, runs in country lanes, yoga on sweet, soft grass, gin and tonics in heavy crystal tumblers, pedicures, roasted tomato soup, fresh Victoria sponge, petticoats made to order, tea in bed, home made frozen yoghurt, watching apples drop off the trees....and just being fully and completely happy in my own skin, knowing that what I'm going to do in about three days time feels so right and I have never been so ready for anything in all my life. That is the feeling that is sitting with me, has sat with me, for days and days now but I didn't really pin down until today. I am ready. I am ready.
